The nature of Bukovina

Сhernivtsi region is rich in various minerals.
There are large reserves of limestone, gypsum , marble, gravel , sand and various clays.
In Bukovina found reserves of phosphate , lignite, oil, gas, common rock salt .
 And of course , there are much more undiscovered treasures in the bosom of Bukovina!
A rich and varied flora of Bukovina. 
The Mountain and foothill zone areas mainly occupied by forests.
They cover about 29 percent of the region. There are forests and plains.
The main species here are  beech , spruce , fir , oak, hornbeam and linden.
In the forests of Bukovina there are ; the wild cherries , raspberries , mushrooms, strawberries. 
The name of the province is derived from the beech-tree ( Buk-Bukovina)
The forests of Bukovina are beautiful. 
The Mighty trees are sometimes almost a solid wall . The sun's rays barely penetrate the ground. 
In the forest, cool, quiet.
Equally enchanting forests and winter.
The atmosphere in the forests is frequently quiet. 
It seems that there is nothing alive here. But it is not so! 
Many animals and birds live Bukovina woods!
 Here there are the red deer, roe deer , wild boar, lynx, fox and the owner of the forest - the bear.
Also there are the mink, polecat , squirrel, weasel , marten , badger , otter, hares and wolves.
Among the birds there are also the grouse, capercaillie and many other birds. 
The rivers belong to the basin of the Danube and Dniester.
The Danube carry their waters to Prut, Siret , Suceava with its tributaries. 
In Dniester flows into a small portion of small rivers.
The nature of Bukovina is very nice !
