The Sherkert Hotel ( Berehove )

Berehove (former city  Lamperthaza) was founded by Prince Lambert.
It has a very rich history since the 12th century AD.

The town is interesting by some of its features.
Also there are some interesting sights and monuments.

Monuments Beregovo:
Roman Catholic church of XII century, destroyed  in 1241, rebuilt in 1370, restored in 1846;
Palace Betleni (1629), now the museum of Beregovo;
Court Palace (1908-1909 years, architect. Ferenc Yablonsky), now the Transcarpathian Hungarian Pedagogical Institute.
In Beregovo there is also interesting building - The Regional State Archives, Transcarpathian geological expedition, museum, one of the best sports facilities in the area - "Transcarpathia", Hungarian theater, 8 schools, branch Drohobych Pedagogical Institute, a branch of Pedagogical Institute of Niredgaza.
Architectural dominant of the city - The Catholic Cathedral XII-XV centuries. Other notable buildings: Count's Court (1629), which belonged to the Transylvanian Count Gabor Betleni. The city has the largest wine cellars carved into the base of the hills surrounding the city, between the XVII and the first half of XX century.

(If you go by your own transport to the road Kyiv - Lviv - Chop (E-50) to the town of Mukachevo, then on the road P-54 to the city Berehove. In the city you have to drive on the main road to the pl. Pushkin, turn left. And your view opens a small two-story hotel-''Sherkert''.
