Rakhiv

Rakhiv is the geographical center of Europe. It is located below the confluence of the Black and White Tisza in a narrow valley between the mountains. The Rakhiv district is the home to about 17,000 residents - mostly Ukrainians. The town was founded in 1447 and has a rich history.
This region has always been an attractive place for tourists to visit.
Rakhiv, full of romance and magic by the river Tisza the high mountains and wide open spaces, reaching down from the tops of the mountains. The fresh air, Infused with pine needles and Polonyna grass, beckons many tourists with its unique beauty.
