Search of ancestors and relatives in Chernivtsi

When I was an interpreter for one Israeli tourist who came to Chernivtsi in search for his ancestral roots, I spent time in the libraries where I discovered some interesting documents where you could see the names of Bukovina towns and Chernivtsi streets during the different historical eras.
We went by taxi to Banilov village(before it was a town) and found that  his grandparents old house had been converted into the local hospital (I think that this made his grandparents very happy when he showed them the photos.)
I am able to do research into the historical archives for the ancestral roots for those Israeli’s whose ancestors used to live in the Chernivtsi region. We also have some interesting excursions (led by Natalia Shevchenko, who is a local expert of Jewish History in Chernivtsi) where I can assist as an interpreter.
So if you would like to come on holiday to Chernivtsi , contact me directly through web site, facebook, and we can arrange for yourself (or your group) an interesting excursion or ancestor's search program.
