The main tourist highway leads from Krivorivnya through the village of Verhniy Yaseniv and on towards the Bukovina pass. From here the road leads to Yavoriv, the original village, that has a very rich tradition of folk art and interesting history.
Yavorіv is the home-town of one of the founders of hutsul wood-carving, 'Yuriy Shkrіblyak' and his descendants.
Today the artwork of this famous engraver and his family are represented in many museums, they are often displayed at numerous exhibitions across the region.
The village has a Room-Museum, that contains some of the best examples of folk art and materials relating the history of the village and this long-standing family business.
Whilst in Yavoriv it is also highly recommended that you visit the restaurant of Hutsul cuisine ''Babay''.
